- Estrogen and progesterone are the stars of the show (these are the 2 hormones). They’re responsible for your physical development as you grow and also influence how you feel. They basically have a big impact on our hormones.
- Understand emotional Intelligence:
- Think of emotional intelligence as your superpower. It helps you understand and manage your feelings.
- Here’s how to level up your emotional game:
- Commit to getting to know Yourself: Pay attention to your emotions. What makes you happy, sad, or angry?
- Move Your Body: Exercise boosts your mood, because it releases something called endorphins and reduces stress.
- Chill Out: Try relaxation techniques like deep breathing, meditation videos on youtube or yoga. All of these can be accessed for free on YouTube.
- Get Enough Sleep: Lack of sleep messes with your mood swings AND this I believe is a big factor in why so many teenage girls can feel groggy and moody!
- Talk It Out: Share your feelings with friends or trusted adults.
- Be Your Own Cheerleader: Believe in yourself—you’ve got this girl!
