What do you want to achieve this month:
Every month, I personally set a new learning goal for myself to keep growing and evolving. This month, think about what You want to focus. No matter how small or big. Monthly goals, make us feel good when we can tick them o and if we can’t tick them o in that month, it is easier to carry them forward to the next month.
Why is this goal important to you?
Think of your goal you have/will be writing down on the worksheet and think about why it is important to you.
Ways you can work toward your goal:
To achieve this goal, have a few strategies in mind (a plan a and a plan b). Also come up with a ‘motivation’ plan, is it that you aim to go to school more and complete your work? When we are on track to achieving our goals, no matter how small or big, it is so important that we take time to be proud of ourself! Do you plan to dedicate at least an hour every day to your goal? Or an hour a week? Only you know what your goal is and how much time it will require!
What obstacle will you face and how will you overcome those:
Setting a goal and sticking to it is never easy. In fact, it is easier to give up on a goal rather than stick it out. Because, when we stick something out – it means we have to commit to it and become consistent with it and actually hold ourselves accountable. Is procrastination a obstacle? Do you have a habit of starting something up and then giving up? Does imposter syndrome/your negative self talk stand in the way? Be realistic when filling out the worksheet about your obstacles, as this is the blockage do your ‘success’. Once we are honest about our learning Goals and obstacles, we can then become aware of them, to push through them. This will also ultimately determine the timeline in how long it takes you to achieve your goal.
How long will it take you to reach your goal:
Setting and achieving goals is a journey of self-discovery. It requires patience, persistence, and a lot of hard work and determination. But the rewards are worth the eort. So, here’s to never stop learning and growing. Go smash your goals, you goal getter!
